I found the programme really good, I have learned some safe exercise that I can do to help me throughout my pregnancy without getting too tired. It’s amazing how regular practice can make a difference that I can actually see.

As someone who doesn’t exercise at all, I’ve been able to keep up with the exercises (surprisingly!) and have enjoyed each session. It caters for the pregnant woman perfectly and is a good chance to talk to others in this unique boat! I would recommend the course.
Focussed exercises for different parts of the body with a clear explanation of benefits. Having the cards to take away was also excellent to remind you of the correct way. Having just a small group also meant individual attention and correction so you knew you were doing it right.
Very informative – useful exercises to continue at home plus the take-home notes are really useful. Great to share experiences of pregnancy with others, having a moan and groan and often a giggle.
The instruction was fabulous – it involved a lot of detail and correction if the form was not correct.

What did you particularly like about the Post Natal Programme?
I attended the post natal FitBack & Bumps Programme in Feb 2009. I had been suffering with neck problems since the birth of my little girl 11 months before. The fact that the programme was run by Chartered Physiotherapists gave me confidence in the Programme. I was looking for exercises to help with my problems and to ease my pain. FitBack & Bumps certainly delivered. The course was professionally run and very enjoyable. I got to meet other new mums and share the experience of being a mum. I am glad to say that my neck is now pain free! I am more than happy to recommend the programme… it was worth every penny!

I didn’t understand why I was experiencing such pain but my instructor’s explanation of muscle separation and how the muscles work helped me realise why I need to do these exercises. I will continue with the exercises with the help of the laminated cards – very useful.
